Sundeep Singh is currently 43 years old and is an accused in the case of assassination of Balwinder Singh Sandhu, a 2020 Shaurya Chakra awardee and a Canadian National. He was assassinated in Bhikhiwind in Punjab's Tarn Taran district. In 2021 NIA (National Investigation Agency) told Supreme Court that banned terror outfit Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) was behind the conspiracy of Sandhu's murder.
